Philadelphia Flyers

The Philadelphia Flyers, or the Broad Street Bullies, are Philadelphia's professional ice hockey team. They are members of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League. The team has been playing out of their Broad Street home since their formation in 1966. After the 1967 NHL Expansion, the Flyers were the first non-Original Six team to win the Stanley Cup, claiming victory in 1973–74 and again in 1974–75.

The Flyers' all-time points percentage of .578 is the second best in the NHL. Flyers have the most semifinal/conference final appearances out of all expansion teams and are tied for the most playoff appearances at 33.
Since 1996, the Flyers have played at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Since the 1970s, our biggest rivals have been the New York Rangers, but let's not forget the New Jersey Devils, with whom we've traded the Atlantic Division title every season between 1994–95 and 2006–07, and our cross-state rivals, those darn Pittsburgh Penguins.
